I Almost threw this away part way through,  but now I don't hate it... I can see where it looks amateur, but I sincerely welcome your specific critique.  I may have liked it more when it was only 20% done... I guess that means I need to simplify my shapes, especially value shapes. I'm also including my second try (better, but I think I over worked it).
