Abigail, first of all, huge respect for diving into both the Zendoodles and the Mid-Century courses at the same time 😄 That is a wonderfully ambitious creative combo. Your first pieces already look fantastic, and I really love your idea of experimenting with a hue gradient palette. The colors flow beautifully together and create such a satisfying overall look. And honestly, “embracing the zen of wonky lines” might be one of my favorite phrases ever. I can absolutely see that relaxed and playful energy coming through in your work already. You’re off to such a strong start, and I’m genuinely excited to see your upcoming Zendoodles and how your style continues to develop along the way.
