Zeefa's Zen

I walk up the winding driveway toward my favorite red maple tree, its brilliant crimson leaves glowing in the afternoon sunlight. Every time I see it, I feel like I'm coming home.
The air is alive with magic. Countless shimmering bubbles drift on the breeze, catching every color of the rainbow. They never truly disappear. When one pops, another quietly takes its place, as though the forest itself is breathing them into existence.
Their laughter-like dance never fails to draw people in. Children race after them with outstretched hands while dogs leap happily beside them. Even the adults can't help but smile as they watch from the wooden benches lining the path, sharing stories over warm cups of tea and chatting about the coming fruit harvest.
Our family homestead has always been a place where people gather. Fruit trees stretch along the front of the property, their branches heavy with apples, pears, peaches, and plums, while gardens overflow with herbs, vegetables, and wildflowers. The scent of lavender mingles with fresh earth and crisp leaves, making every breath feel calming.
Whenever I need a quiet moment to think—or to work through a new melody—I wander to the pond with a fresh apple in hand. The gentle ripple of the water, the rustling leaves above, and the endless dance of enchanted bubbles remind me that even the smallest moments can hold a little magic.
