Yasmina Creates - Creating 10 Woodland Cuties ;)
This was a fun class and I learned a lot from Yasmina's tutorial. I typically don't paint this style of animals and wanted to learn some techniques for an upcoming project for children featuring woodland creatures.
I used micron pens, watercolor, colored pencils and some metallic pens for accents...basically what I had on hand. I am planning to look into alcohol markers because they look like a fun medium to experiment with, too. I also took note of what colors I used and added notes on the side and bottom of my sketchbook for future reference.
Not all of my creations are what I'd call the best "Cuties" but I went with it and added my own personal touches to each painting. My personal favorite is the fox I did because the personality seems to shine on that one. I do plan to try to create some of these again and again and develop my own characters and expand the woodland cuties for my project.
Thanks for taking a look. I really appreciate it! Let me know what you think! Is one of them your favorite?
