Hi, I'm Bärbel, a pattern designer from Sweden. Winter is coming and the other day we got our first snow here in Stockholm and I snapped this picture of some powdered heather outside of our front door that inspired me to do this pattern. I also drew the colors from this image for my color palette.

The advanced techniques I've been using here is several layers and two different texture brushes when constructing the background and motifs.
