Weaving on a Cardboard Loom
Well that was fun! What a great way to use some lovely yarns a friend donated to me. Weaving is a contemplative art and lends itself to allowing the materials to become what they will.
I created a tinier loom and tried a simple varied colored stripe pattern just to experiment with heft of yarn and the use of colors in a more symmetric design. It worked up quickly.
I discovered an different type of "shuttle" using a paper clip and masking tape.
Thank you, teacher, Lisa Cartrette, for sharing your skill!
