Great class and yet to try the other 2 projects.  Again I tried painting from memory and of course the sunflower on the right supposed to be the class project demo but is a bit different as i swear my memory retention is fading! The painting on the left is just me using up leftover paint in loose style on hot press (first time using) and done in few minutes.

 

I would definitely try this transparent technique again with other colors and a good use for canson xl paper that is not 100%cotton.  This was DS opera pink. I did dry in between as I bought a heatgun finally but I don't think was as transparent as should be.

 Finally completed the project. Messed up the position of colors in background so I trimmed it to a smaller painting. I think still looks okay! I probably missed a few steps of highlight marks. My new gamboge is more orange than the demo. This is DS paints.
