The dancing brush technique exercise turned into a lobster.

The quality of the paper and paints used for Glowing Lights exercise can make or break your project. I used cheap watercolor paper from 5 Below and Cotman paints for the the exercise (below) and you can see the glow effect didn’t work. I tried again (above) with 100% cotton Fabriano watercolor paper and White Nights paints. What a difference!
