5x7 Tried to stay loose except where the light petals meet the dark center of the flower behind. Made the petals there sharper for a center of interest in that upper right third of the painting. Used lemon yellow, cad yellow, burnt umber, cobalt blue, cad red. Had to use some white gouache at the end to get my vase highlights back.

Every day I try to create something, and today, it was sunflowers in two styles. The pen and ink objective was also "looseness" and it's interesting to compare the two styles.
