Hi Mlle Mirabelle,  Thank you for sharing your project! It takes a lot of courage to have a go, and then even more to share it, but I'm very glad you did both!  Getting good darks is one of the tricky things about watercolor, but you built it up nicely, and on the right hand side you have a nice soft edge between the owl and the background. And your background is beautifully soft, with no cauliflowers!  The eyes are good too, you created good dark depth around them. It certainly looks like he is looking at something! I had a lot of trouble getting a dark, undiluted color for the body.
