Watercolor mixed media samplers

This is so fun. I see myself making many of these!
Sketchbook practice. My watercolor sketchbook is from Viviva Colors. It’s rough texture 100% cotton cold press paper, which makes for some cool effects. I find colors appear very vivid when dry and do not experience the same degree of fading as they dry as they would on something like Arches (my preferred paper for finished pieces).
Unfortunately this sketchbook paper doesn’t tolerate tape, even the lowest tack painter’s tape damages it, so no clean margins here.
I used Daniel Smith paints, Derwent metallic watercolor for the gold, micron pens, posca pens, and graphite.
