Begin  Watercoloring Light

Hey, Andrea, this is fabulous. Reminds me of <a href="http://www.jean-baptiste-simeon-chardin.org/the-complete-works.html?pageno=3" rel="nofollow">J.B. Chardin</a> French artist 1700's. The brilliant choice of dull greys makes the lighting effect even more brilliant. It is well modeled and the light-dark transitions are subtle and convincing. This type of color choice is called 'classical restraint' and is very much like Chardin's choices. The choice of paper is good and I can see the patterns under the well-executed washes. I have no problem being inspired by my students. Thank you so much for letting us see this Andrea.
