Here is my final illustration, a view of a volcano as seen from a terrace of a villa. I can imagine myself having meals here while enjoying the view. I used Affinity Photo so I had to experiment with the built in gouache, watercolour, and ink brushes. It was a bit challenging to pick just one type of texture to make it look cohesive.
