I took this photo about four years ago and when I found this class I looked for a good photo to edit. Unfortunately I didn't use a tripod so the image is very shaky. But I'm quite happy with the result. Here is my before and after:

I almost only used Photoshop for this because I didn't know that Camera Raw is an option inside PS. I set the whites and blacks, adjusted brightness and contrast, did some color grading and in Camera Raw I used the brush to brighten up the village a little bit. In the end I used the spot repair to get rid of the little bush in the bottom right corner and the patch tool to delete the ugly green bridge which is crossing the river near the major curve of the street.
