I was in desbilief when I saw the pattern coming to live just from one block! This is the first time that I tried  affinity and it was so much fun following along! At time it was challenging because I still need to get familiar with the buttons and where to find them, but I was very hapy with the whole process.

I tried to keep it simple with the colors and shapes, but I couldn't help myself. Sometimes it seems like I am overcomplicating the process ( would this be autosabotage? who knows?) I could not decide on how I wanted the composition to look like, so I told myself better to star with the motifs and probably the pattern will revel itself and so it happened. I had to play around with the color wheel to find a color for the background until I liked one.

Compared to other times that I had tried something new I am very pleased to learn that I don't struggle as much with frustration as I did, so this is kinda like my triumph pattern. While exporting the doc I realized that is not as semaless as I wanted it to be andI had to resist the urge to go back and fix it, so I'm leaving this as a proof to myself that even when it's not perfect I can still sabor the victory of trying and giving myslef permission to make mistakes in the process.

Thank you so much for this lesson I really enjoyed it!
