Thank you for your reply. I use the convection mode of my microwave to bake breads, buns and cakes. Could I use the same technique that you have mentioned in the artisan bread class,that is ,spray water and using ice cubes underneath? Also in a microwave we can’t set the preheating time, it’s already set, is that okay?
Your response will let me decide whether I need a dedicated oven though kitchen counter top space is really a premium!

Hi Rukmini, I don't have any experience in using the microwave for baking bread so I wont be able to help unfortunately. I would advise to get an oven as that would really allow you to make amazing breads and cakes
