I'm not sure what I was trying to accomplish with this class but maybe I hoped to adopt some of Toby's free intuitive style in my everyday sketches.

I think I understood the basics but I really couldn't get away from actual shapes and figures...

Blowing the ink around was a fun exercise though the result was a bit scary...

I don't know what I was aiming for or what this turned out to be...  A tunnel perhaps?

I tried doodling things on my desk and though I'm sort of happy with the result I don't think this was the look that Toby wanted me to achieve.  It is more like just a loose drawing.

I don't think I really got the hang of doodling (though I do do it when talking on the phone or killing time) and sort of wonder if a person's doodle just is a reflection of a mind wandering...
