I did the painting on the left without a sketch and the painting on the right with a sketch. I didn’t have ink so mixed a blackish paint.

There are parts of each painting I like and don’t like. I really love this teacher’s method and the freedom with which she paints-she’s an excellent and encouraging instructor.
