Tulips are my favourite flower so I decided to draw them for this project. I don’t really have my own style yet, I’m still trying to develop one. This is the style I have been trying out and enjoying this week though.

 

I decided I didn’t want to copy this picture as I wanted a few more elements so I tried a couple of versions of a jug of tulips...

I wasn’t really sure about either of these, but I really liked the idea of trying something using only straight line work as this isn’t something I would ever usually do when drawing flowers. I loved the outcome as it looked like origami so I ended up doing three different versions of my “Origami Tulips”...
