When I first saw the contents of the course and saw the other students projects, I knew that this was a good opportunity to do something Magic: The Gathering related. I remember seeing a hoodie with a logo that I used as inspiration:

Originally I was kind of going to vectorize and animate that. But I decided to use it only as a reference. 

The whole design of the thing was a big challenge, given that I'm not literate in Illustrator. But I still manage to get something done and was happy with the result.

 

I only animated the traditional version, because I thought that my design wasn't very compatible with the creative neon look. So I opted out of that one. But I consider designing something new in the future and use that approach as well.
