This toile design is inspired by Cape Dutch architecture, and the Cape farmlands and vineyards. I am from Cape Town and have lived in two homes with beautiful Cape Dutch gables. This pattern speaks to my childhood and depicts the beautiful scenery found in the Cape winelands. 'Toile du Cap' translates to 'Cloth of the Cape'.
