Time for a swirl!
I am the mother of a 5 year old girl who is allergic to cow milk protein so I now and then we get baking vegan recipes. We are ok making cakes, but biscuits have always been a bit of a challenge, they always seem simple but there are many things that can go wrong... specially texture.
After attending the course we decided to give the raspberry swirls a go. And by the outcome I can already tell many things we didn’t do right... including not waiting for the dough to freeze enough before cuttin or putting too much jam.
They may not look too good, but taste wise they are quite decent and the apple flavour comes through just enough. We will defenitely try again and be a bit more patience because as you said, time is the most important thing when baking.
Thanks for your course and all the amazing recipes. We are happier people today! And we promise to keep practising!
