After 4 froggings/trials, it's finally done!  It was a challenge, for sure, as my stitch numbers don't match the required number of spike stitch c

ombinations. Made some adjustments and with some more practice, I'm sure my next attempts will be more "polished". 

This one was finished through Olga's class in Spike Stitch.  It was done using a very affordably priced lace cotton yarn (3-ply mercerized cotton under the Philippine brand "Monaco"), and a 1.75 steel hook.  

Added a small bead as "bag charm", to add a pop of color.
