This shelf has been bothering me for ages. It wasn't necessarily untidy, but needed a little organizing and de-cluttering.

 

 

I took the less-is-more approach by clearing everything off of the shelves entirely, then started choosing some of my favorite pieces to incorporate and worked around those. I kept most of the books and items neutral in color, so I could add pops of color. This is a pretty dark corner of my house, so plants don't usually live very long on the shelf. I chose two low-light plants and a vase of fresh Eucalyptus. 

 

 

I'm happy with how open and clean it feels. I think it also shows more personality with some of my favorite more graphic objects.
