Sandra, so lovely to see you in this class too! I’m so glad the layer technique worked for you. I use it the most for abstract painting because it’s just so organic and just connects with my style the best. It’s very cool how you are incorporating known objects in your abstract paintings. This gives this artwork a flowy dreamlike quality and really puts your own unique spin on it. Great job! Abstract painting in general can be so expressive, and is a life saver on those days when I’m not sure if I can paint but I really need some art therapy.  Do you mind if I post this on my Instagram? It's my pleasure! I respond to every student, because I appreciate that these projects take time and energy that you'd like a return from. Plus I love to see how each translates the projects in their own style. :-) I love the story behind this one. The concept of fighting the wind is to apt here...  And thanks! The layering technique really helped me to stop and think and stand back as I was creating this. I feel the picture speaks to me in a way that other more representational pictures do not. Thank you for the class
