The Road Is Open

Paintings Tell A Story.
Here is where my story begins.
The House That Leans
Tried a few different 'toppings'
Used a plan since if you fail to plan you plan to fail.(Ben Franklin)
Made two versions and developed the larger one.
I decided I needed some flowers for my journey. Never know who you might meet along the way.
Orchids are always a winner! But they needed some water on that dry sandy road so I headed towards the waterfall.
She took a little water and I headed back down the road, that lovely well travelled road, my own Country Road.
PS. Hope to meet you on my road so we can walk together and master the simple things.
Maybe watch the little trout in the pool in the glade.
Many times I have been to the west coast and every time I do some sketches and bring it back to the mountains where I live.
Then I work them up into a larger work. I like and the expansive sky and the rough stones on this beach in Vancouver, BC,Canada
I am still working on this painting and will keep you posted as I near completion.
Sketch/sketch/sketch ...that's how I stretch my creativity.
