"The Little Witch" : a character sheet
Creating and then drawing characters has been like a second nature to me. It doesn't matter if the character was a spur of the moment idea or if their story plot was carefully constructed before being layed on paper, allof my OCs come with an incredibly detailed story - which I had yet to write and share with the world...
That is why, a year and half ago, I buckled down, got to work and hold and behold, I had written the scenari for a dozen-episode-long webtoon, starring 7 characters I had created in October for an art challenge.
I have decided for a genre, an art style (for line art, colouring and shadows) and started thumbnailing each chapter - which is to be honest proving to be quite difficult.
But maybe more daunting than that is the fact that I will have to draw my characters quite a lot, and style consistency is not my forte. That is why I decided to take on this class by Ariann and create a reference sheet that will help in keeping my characters consistent.
Then meet one of the main characters: "The Little Witch" (her name will be revealed in due time!)

When I first drew her, her colour scheme was the one we can see now, but nonetheless I decided to try out different palettes to see if it would suit her better.

I actually took a few months to finish this project. While I would have liked to able to draw it quicker, this character sheet had shown me that the more recent drawings are far less stiff than the first ones.
Overall, I'm quite pleased with how it turned out!
What do you think of my Little Witch? Would enjoy reading a cute story about her and her friends?
