Shopify Theme-Entwicklung: Erstellen und anpassen eines eigenen Online-Shops

Now theres a link in there. But as I said, it's nothing special. I am currently watching your second course about advanced programming. I just got my first shopify project which I am really really excited about. I have been a developer and designer just for a year now and work with jekyll for my normal projects. But now I got my first Shopify project and I am really looking forward to it. Just signed the contracts with the client and in two weeks I have the next meeting. 

For this first project I want to have the following workflow:
1. Use on of those 12 free themes as a base. 
2. Build the sceleton of the site in the customizer and add all the theme styles and settings there. 
3. Adjust the design where needed of the sections in the code through cli.

What do you think about that?

Also I am trying to figure out, which theme I want to take as a base. I am really not reluctant to really dive deep into the code regarding the design. I mean functionality is either way no problem since they basically have everything already programmed. So I am wondering if I should just take the dawn theme or if I'd rather take on that is just a little bit closer to the final design...I mean my question is: Which one is it worth to really dive deep into the code and learn it regarding industry standard and stuff. I just rather take the dawn theme and learn the code and grid system of that one if it is reusable in the future than just talking a different theme and learning it all for maybe never using it again. What do you think about that?

Dawn theme is a good base. It's become the industry standard since OS2.0
