THE DARK HOUSE

Ginny is very happy today, because the air here is so fresh. Her parents are busy unboxing the cartoons and she is playing with her siblings. “Hey, Rachel! shouted Ginny. Give the ball here!”. “No, I won't.” said Rachel while throwing the ball out of the window. “Guys, it's time for lunch. C’mon” said Ginny’s mom. The family was discussing about their new home at the table. Everyone is happy.

 

After dinner, mommy puts Ginny and Rachel into bed. She kisses their forehead and says “good night” to both of them. Rachel in bed, “Mommy, when are we going to our new school?”. “Very soon, sweetie. You better go to sleep now.” Rachel sighs and says “I love you, mommy.” “I love you too, dear” says mommy. Ginny is smiling, seeing her mommy and her younger sister together. Ginny is 15 years old and Rachel 9.

 

At night, Rachel wakes up at straight 3 a.m and looks at the clock. Ginny is sleeping and Rachel wants to go to pee. She wakes Ginny up, but Ginny refuses to wake up. “Ginny, please wake up. I want to pee” said rachel. “Please, let me sleep. Go away” said Ginny. The washroom was outside their room’s door, so Rachel was afraid to go there. After coming out of the washroom Rachel wanted to drink water. So, she went into the kitchen and fetched a glass. While drinking water she looked out the window, the full moon shining brightly in the dark sky. Suddenly, someone runs past her. She was startled and left the glass that was in her hand. The glass made a very disturbing noise. Mommy and daddy came running into the kitchen. Ginny was still asleep. “What are you doing here at this time, sweetie?”. Said mommy. Rachel said, “Mommy, someone ran past me. I am very afraid.” Rachel was shaking while telling this. Mommy and daddy look into each other's eyes confusingly. “Ok baby, you can sleep with us.” said daddy.

 

Mommy went to another room to bring a pillow for Rachel to sleep. Rachel and daddy were in their room. Suddenly, Ginny shouts “Mommy!”. Mommy and daddy run to Ginny’s room. Ginny was up in the air. “Dear Jesus' ' says mommy in a whispering voice. Everyone was shocked. Ginny’s eyes were turning white. Now, Ginny was standing in the air. Her eyes were white and her eyes white. Rachel was standing in between her mommy and daddy. Rachel was crying. “Mommy, what’s happening to Ginny?” said Rachel while crying. “What do you want from us? Who are you?.” shouted daddy.

 

Ginny in a dark voice says, “I want this girl, she’s so pretty.” “Please, for god sake, leave us alone” said mommy crying. And then, Ginny falls on the bed. They run to Ginny, all crying. Ginny wakes up crying, “Mom, what’s happening to me?”. “Tomorrow, we’re going to church.” said daddy. They all slept together.

 

Next morning, everyone woke up late at 11 a.m. Usually, they woke up in the morning at 9 a.m but because of last night, they didn’t get enough sleep. They get into the car. Rachel was very sleepy. “Mom, I need a nap.” said Rachel, yawning. Mommy said no to Rachel because the church is only 10 mins away from their home.

 

At church, they met Father Gordon, who have known to be friends with Mr.robinson’s family for over 8 years. “Hi, robinson. Nice to meet you and your family again. How are you, young ladies?” said father Gordon. They all talked about that house. Father Gordon said that, “There was a beautiful young girl that used to live in that house with her mother, no father, no brother, only her and her mother. The girl's name was Georgia, she was known for her beauty. They were very poor. They didn’t have enough money for buying food or paying the rent. One day , you know, Georgia went out to buy some food. When she went out the landlord of that house sent a man to murder her. The man stabbed a knife in Georgia's mother’s stomach, she died on the spot. The man threw her in a well. Next was georgia. The man who was sent by the landlord, went to Georgia and threw oil on her and burnt her to death.” “Oh!, dear Jesus.” said Mrs.Robinson. Father Gordon continues, “I think that the girl’s soul is still haunting that house. It would be better if you just leave the house.”

 

The Robinson family leaves the house and goes to the next country and buys a new house and lives their life happily ever after.
