I made glitches  surfing images and did the type on a separate piece of paper.

I had to find the right picture that would make sense for this and words.

Here are my glitch versions

I tried several variations of the 2 images on the scanner, moved them quickly back and forth, some slowly some up and over to the right. I have many to choose from, some were really abstract, like v3 below. 

I printed the type on a separate paper and scanned that in, also moving it up and down, left and right. Some of them were not legible. I had a lot to choose from and I could move the type anywhere on the image.
