I recently subscribed to Scrawlrbox, an art subscription box with a prompt attached to it. The goal: create art with only the supplies in the box. When this one came in, I immediately thought of faeries. So I made up some thumbnails and a general sketch onto paper, then traced it and used the Daler Rowney watercolours.

 

I especially am fond of the background, and I'm proud to show my very first full watercolour illustration.
