Snow Leopard
Here in Australia at Christmas time there's no sight of snow, rather it's sunny beach days under the hot summer sun. In my town -an hour's drive from the beach, so I'm thankful for a swimming pool and air conditioning - today it's a low of 17C and high of 34C, tomorrow expecting a steaming high of 37C. It was welcoming to stay indoors out of the heat for a few hours, relax, get in the zone and paint this magnificent Snow Leopard. I'm with you Jane, I'm not sure about the background. I used a combination of salt and rubbing alcohol. First time using rubbing alcohol, mine came in a little spray bottle so thought I'd be brave and do a quick spritz in the top left. With the spots/stripes it's challenging to know how much is enough or too much. Overall I'm pretty pleased with how he has turned out. Thanks again Jane for your clear and detailed instruction, lovely to hear your warm and friendly banter again. Always brings a smile.
