What a fun and relaxing project for a cold, rainy weekend.  I put on an audio book and went to work gathering and piecing and sewing. 

I made the snippet roll on the left like the instructions in the class and embellished it. Then I made the one on the right by sewing smaller fabric scraps and embroidered images I cut out of practice samplers right onto a long strip of muslin. 

 

I added bits of text using the wording on fabric selvedges and from paper bits I had.

 

And here's a small collection of fall-themed clusters with stamped fabric, paper scraps, fabric transfers, charms & buttons, and even found objects glued on like tiny acorn hats. :)
