Sketching begins with observing. I love observing life around me while I go out. Sometimes it could also be indoors. What ever it may be, I record that in the form of a simple sketch in my sketchbook.

Here's a series of quick sketches of ducks and pigeons, sketched while sitting in my local park. 

Some times when I feel stuck or is starting off with sketching after a long break, I begin with the things I see on my desk. 

The projects for the class 'Sketching for Beginner' are simple materials from my desk, used for sketching and painting.
