I’m enjoying beginning the process of problem solving in a sketchbook before tackling a painting! Your method makes much more sense than just diving in to a painting as I was doing before, and allows for a lot more experimentation than when you commit to choices as you go during a painting. Since I’m a little lazier than you I may combine some of the steps of the process- like experimenting with composition and color palette in the same go as in with the pumpkin. But I still feel like it really helps! Thanks for this class!
