I've had another go and really liked the technique. My mouth was much better too, didn't overwork it as much. I think it's the best painting I've ever done so THANK YOU for the amazing lesson x

Edit: the following refers to my first attempt... I really enjoyed doing this! It was my first time trying to achieve any kind of skin tone and it was terrifying having to put purple/blue over the top to create shadows 

I'm very happy with it all apart from the mouth which I really messed up. I'll definitely try this one again until I get the hang of it
