I finally finished my first crochet garment!  In the past, I have always done amigurumi, accessories, or other small things, so I wanted to try something different.  Even though I did a gauge swatch, I had some trouble getting the size right and ended up going from a 6mm hook to a 5.5mm hook, which worked fine.  Because I have a long torso, I had to use one size for the width and a larger size for the length, but in the end the shirt fit fine.  I used the Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton DK yarn in sugar cane (white) and desert lily (lavender).
