You’ve done really well to give this 2 goes Kim! I can already see some lovely translucent areas coming through, especially where you have kept the washes lighter and allowed the paper to show. It is such an easy subject to keep working at because there are so many subtle shifts of colour and tone, so I completely understand the temptation to keep adjusting it. The second version feels especially luminous, and it is great to see you experimenting and learning from each attempt.

This one is very very hard for me.. I can't get it to look translucent and I overwork it every time.
