I am working on my personal branding and want to use illustrator to make my logo, so I took this class to learn how to use illustrator for drawing. So I did not make a complete poster but did a self portrait. 
The class is amazing. Everything beautifully explained and I cannot wait to make a complete poster with the skills learned

this is the first rough sketch in photoshop.

 

Then I used the pen tool to turn the sketch into shapes and gave some color 

then I took my work to photoshop to give textures.
