I created a self caricature portrait of myself for my social profiles. I used the techniques and brushes Brenda provided with the class to create these images. The face frame guide brush was very helpful. Also, used a decorative frame brush that Liz Kohler Brown provided in one of her classes.

I usually wear a hat when I'm outdoors sketching and sometimes I wear glasses or sun glasses. So, I made versions of this illustration and without a hat and glasses by putting those elements on different layers that I turn off and then export. 

 

 

The 3 bees buzzing around my head represent inspiration. As an artist, I consider the bee a metaphor for creative inspiration. I've found when inspiration comes from many sources, creativity begins to flow sweetly like honey. I like to "Bee Inspired" to creatively pollinate my art.
