I illustrated a self-portrait throughout the class and used the puppet tool to move the foot back and forth! 

I later went back to the illustration to refine it, separating the arm and tongue and added some more puppet tool movements. I staggered the animation to give a more natural feeling and a scribbly movement to the hand!

I also used the puppet tool on some other illustrations including my 'Smell the flowers' guy! I used the advanced pin tool to rotate and scale the flower. 

I will definitely be using the puppet tool on lots more illustrations!
