I decided to do the sea landscape for the class project. I really like the wave effect so I decided that rather than go straight into one of the other landscapes I would expand that idea to work on brush control and colour mixing. I also love the effect created by leaving the white space between colours.

This is the second piece I did based on the wave pattern and utilising the white space between colours. As well as being good practice in brush control it was also good practice in not rushing to get something finished. I think this probably took me about 2 hours but I really enjoyed doing it and I'm pleased with the result.
