I've been wanting but unable to fly out to Portland to take a class with Rachel. So happy she made this Skillshare class! I didn't quite have the right materials but it worked anyway. I used a soft but thick leather I had on hand rather than the vegetable tanned stiff leather. I made the top insole too small to do the slits so I just wrapped them around the sides (between the insole and the sole) Don't think it's as durable but it looks/feels fine! Excited to make my next pair and learn more!
