So I haven't been making music for a very long time but felt the call to get back into it and build back my confidence. My project samples "Love is a Simple Thing" by Leon Ware. I found that I liked the first four measures on loop. It kind of reminded me of something Rick Ross would be on. From there, I played around with clips for hours. I don't really know what I need to do to make a full song but I wanted to make a 30 second proof of concept. I cut many other clips that didn't make it to this cut, many got me thinking about Daft Punk inspired French House, so I might try my hand at that next.
