Assignment 3

Hey guys - so I've been trying to work in different places, indoor and outdoor, to figure out what I like and don't like when sketching... I found that busy cafes make me a bit jumpy and distracted - I prefer sleepy hangouts. I also like the beach (in the shade) more than forests/jungles as the insects bother me XD

 

Assignment 4 and 5

I've been filling my sketchbook with drawings and really quick sketches - here's a few of them!

This last one is one of my favourites: I really wanna include tons of leaves and plants in my final artwork!

 

Assignment 6

I want to create a series of watercolour postcards from my journal... I'm gonna include all the beautiful environment and landscapes I've captured in my photography and add a character in the middle, framed by leaves and local landmarks. This is the main aesthetic I want to convey, using primarily a palette of gold, blue, emerald green and red - so basically vibrant primary colours!
