For me this portrait project was about capturing the essence of the model e.g. how the painter sees the sitter here , i used a black and white photo of a model taken from Pinterest, i like jewellery, so shes wearing earrings, i enjoyed the process of building up layers of skin using kitchen towel, i was using Sennelier watercolor paints, watercolor pad 100 per cent cotton, Daler and Rowney travel pack gamboge hue, for the golden hair, burnt sienna, raw sienna for darker warm tones. I have included work in progress, sketch, colour swatches for skin, i learned a lot here about eyes and the mouth soft expressions thank you
