This took me only about 20 minutes to create after watching Helen's class.  I used Photoshop symbols, applied a gradient to each and located them using the pattern preview.  The pattern was created with a transparent background so I could add any background color I wanted when I applied the pattern to my new document.  I chose a nice, soft yellow background.
