This is so pretty, thanks for sharing your retro project Mia! I actually quite like the bold lines; it makes the vases &amp; bowl stand out from the background. I'd actually suggest making the decorative lines on the vases even thicker to match the bold lines; but that's just a suggestion! I think it looks great as it is. Beautiful work!

Claire, thank you so much! 🥰I was actually worried that my outlines might be too thick, so it’s reassuring to hear that they help the objects stand out from the background. 😊 I also love your suggestion about making the decorative lines a little bolder for consistency. I noticed that when I resized some of my stamp brushes, the lines became thinner, so the line weights vary a bit throughout the piece.I know this is very common with raster artwork. What do you usually do in this situation? Do you redraw the decorative lines using the same brush size as the outlines, or is there another workflow you prefer?

Hi Mia! Oh yes, this can be the drawback of using stamps, unfortunately! And sometimes you'd prefer the stamps to have a different texture for example, which you can't change that easily. In that case, I just use the stamps as a template (they still help loads with spacing and repeating shapes), and then trace them with another brush or brush size. That's the best way to do it I think!
