Reflections on the Work I Created for This Class
Here are all of the scanned works I created in this class:
Gouache Color Chart

Originally, my color chart looked different, but I wanted to keep these sketches within reach because I really liked the color mixes. (I didn’t expect these color swatches to be so helpful in my art practice) So I rearranged them in a more beautiful way in my sketchbook.
In hindsight, I probably should have painted them directly in my sketchbook from the beginning, but that's okay.
And on the right side, you can also see some sketches I made while brainstorming.
Small artwork made with Gouache and Colored Pencils

In the video, I chose the color palette based on the colors that called to my heart in that moment. But I understand how difficult it can be to come up with a balanced, but interesting palette.
In that case, I can recommend this website I like - (https://paletton.com)
It’s a website from olden times, but that’s something I actually appreciate about it)
You can choose different types of color palettes there. For example, for this exercise, a tetrad color palette works very well.
Swatch Layout

A simple but effective exercise to warm up before painting larger pieces.
Geometric Pattern

This artwork truly makes my heart sing because of all the colors. There’s so much room to customize this exercise to your liking.
Painting Made with Leftover Paint

A truly freeing exercise.
Sketchbook Layout

My creativity definitely got a boost after completing this artwork.
Thank you for reading all the way through. I’m very grateful that you took the time to look at my work.
Wishing you a joyful painting session! ♥️
