I used a scan of this watercolored yarn ball. The blue-green balls were recolored using a layer.  The pink balls were recolored using an adjustment layer.  I created a pattern and just overlaid the 2 pattern layers to create the design. I printed this as fabric and am using it for my knitting bags I sell on Etsy.  I find Helen's classes to be so easy to understand and very practical for me.
